Procedure
Fat transfer breast augmentation is a minimally invasive alternative to implant-based breast enlargement. It uses liposuction to take fat from other areas of your body such as your abdomen or thighs and inject it into your breasts. It is a smart choice for women who are looking for natural results, whilst removing stubborn pockets of fat on the body. Fat transfer breast enlargement (fat transfer breast augmentation) enhances the shape and size of your breasts without the need for saline or silicone breast implants. Natural breast enlargement with micro fat grafting is simple, less stressful on your body than traditional breast enlargement and recovery time is quick.
Preparation
To prepare for your micro-fat transfer procedure, Dr. Doumit may recommend that you wear an external expander called BRAVA while you sleep for a few weeks. This soft gel-like brassiere gently suctions the breast area in women with tight skin to create an adequate matrix for the fat injections.
Dr. Doumit may also recommend a mammogram before the natural breast augmentation if you are over 40 years old. A repeat mammogram six months following surgery will help to detect any future changes in your breasts. Following natural breast enlargement, The patient will still be able to perform breast self-examination.
Smokers will be asked to halt smoking 6 weeks before surgery. Aspirin and NSAID (Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug) can cause bleeding. Patients should not use those medications at least 7 days before surgery.
Procedure Details
Natural breast enlargement (natural breast augmentation) is an outpatient procedure. Through multiple small incisions (approximately 4 mm in size), Dr. Doumit removes fat from areas of your body such as your stomach, buttocks, or thighs and precisely injects it back into your breasts. The fat then grows within your breast tissue and the breasts enlarge naturally. The patient receives the benefit of liposuction

Recovery
Natural breast enlargement surgery (breast augmentation with fat injection) is performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia or sedation. For this reason, be certain to plan for someone to drive you home after surgery and stay with you for at least the first night following surgery.
You will be given medication to take at home. The average recovery time is 2 to 4 days. Stiffness and soreness in the chest for the first two to five days are normal. These side effects, along with some swelling and bruising will subside over two to three weeks. Surgical dressings are removed several days following surgery. You will be instructed to wear a support/sports bra.
Physical activity is limited for the first week with most patients able to return to work and their normal activities within one to two weeks.
Results
Youthful shape, natural look, and fullness are restored to the breasts. The feel is soft as implants are not used in the breasts. The body contour is improved in certain areas as fat is removed from body areas that may have not responded to diet and exercise.
Safety
All surgical procedures carry some risk. Although rare, risks associated with fat transfer breast enlargement include: cysts, infection, calcification, necrosis (death) of fat cells, and breast asymmetry.
