Preparation
Dr. Doumit will provide each patient with a set of personalized preparation guidelines, instructing each patient on how to prepare for their procedure. Preparation may vary slightly between patients depending on their treatment plan. Generally, patients are asked to temporarily discontinue the use of certain medications or supplements with blood-thinning properties. Those who smoke should quit several weeks before their appointment, fully refraining from use at least until healed. Transportation home should be arranged for after the procedure, in addition to any time away from work or other social activities.
Procedure
A mommy makeover is a fully customized procedure and can contain any of the following treatments:
- Tummy Tuck: A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a procedure designed to help reduce excess tissue and fat from the abdomen while also restructuring and strengthening the abdominal muscles.
